Long Term or Respite Care

All of our rooms are for single occupancy and have their own ensuite facilities, our fees reflect the differing levels of care provided in our homes; from Residential care through to Dementia Nursing.

To receive the Long Term Care Benefit you must be in possession of a Needs Assessment Panel Certificate (NAPS) from the Health and Social Security Department, and you must have been resident in Guernsey for a minimum of 5 years including being resident in Guernsey for a minimum of 1 year immediately prior to becoming a resident in one of our homes.

What is included in this fee?

• Full board accommodation; with cleaning of the room and communal areas
• All meals and drinks
• Provision of 24hr care by Professional Care staff and Registered Nurses within the Maison de Quetteville suites
• Laundry (excl. dry cleaning)
• General insurance
• St John’s Ambulance Scheme Insurance
• TV Licence

What is not included?

• Chiropodist fees, physiotherapist and other therapies that are not in-house
• Hairdressing, doctor’s/dentist’s fees
• Toiletries, stationery, personal newspapers, taxis
• Incontinence materials, non-prescription medicine
