  • L’Ancresse and Bordeaux Suites on the ground floor provide specialist care for people living with dementia.
  • Cobo Suite on the first floor provides dementia specific nursing care.

L’Ancresse & Bordeaux Suites

Dementia residential care

L’Ancresse and Bordeaux Suites offer residential dementia care to each of its 29 residents. Person-centred care is tailored to meet the needs of the individual.

Bedrooms
  • All rooms are en-suite with shower, although separate baths and showers are also available if required.
  • Each room is fully furnished, carpeted and newly decorated before a resident moves in. The room also has its own curtains, bed, wardrobe, bedside cabinet, telephone point, plug sockets and an emergency call point.
  • Residents are encouraged to provide additional furnishings and pictures etc to make it their home.

Amenities
  • Maison de Quetteville has a number of relaxation areas. There are three sitting areas looking out over the landscaped gardens which are particularly popular and each has a beautiful stained glass window feature.
  • Open plan living areas include a kitchen, dining and lounge areas that are spacious and bright.
  • There is plenty of space to walk around and corridors link to the outside garden.
  • Menu choices include vegetarian options and special dietary requirements are provided for.
  • Laundry is carried out for residents by the in-house laundry.
  • There are beautiful gardens with covered seating areas for residents to enjoy, particularly in the summer.
  • On-site hairdressing is also available.

Activities
  • A variety of activities are offered including gardening, outings, participating in normal household activities, Singing for the Brain, “Tovertafel” – interactive magic table, arts and crafts, interaction with our dogs. In good weather residents enjoy walking the garden or reading under the gazebos.
  • There is a dedicated activities coordinator.
  • Weekly holy communion is available and optional.

Cobo offers person centred nursing care to each of its 13 bedrooms by a dedicated team of staff led by a registered nurse being responsible at all times.
